Nous avons le plaisir de vous rappeler que vous êtes invités à une conférence par la Professeure Ana Mijic (Imperial College London) sur le thème : «Modelling the Whole-Water Cycle: Insights and Opportunities from the Water Systems Integration Modelling (WSIMOD) Framework»
- Date : 14 novembre 2025
- Heure : 10 h – 11h30
- Lieu : Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées, salle P303
Résumé de la conférence invitée par le Leesu
Water systems are inherently interconnected through physical processes, operational decisions, and feedback that span natural and engineered domains. Capturing this complexity is essential for understanding system performance and designing resilient management strategies. This talk will introduce the Water Systems Integration Modelling (WSIMOD) framework — a flexible, open-source platform developed to represent the whole-water cycle and simulate flows, water quality, and system interactions across scales. Through a series of case studies, WSIMOD’s application to diverse water management challenges will be demonstrated, including urban drainage, catchment planning, and pollution mitigation. The talk will conclude with a discussion of emerging research directions and opportunities for collaboration to advance systems-based modelling for sustainable water management.
Pour une participation à distance, une session Teams sera disponible.
Nous espérons vous y voir nombreuses et nombreux pour cette conférence invitée, suivie d’un temps d’échanges et de discussion.
