Presentation of Leesu research ecosystem
published on , updated on
Leesu is very involved locally and part of its scientific orientations is related to those of the ComUE Université Paris-Est.
It contributes to the scientific investigations of I-Site Future :
- As part of Labex Futurs urbains, through the animation of work group Modeling and urban dynamics, and co-animation of groups Urban natures and City and digital technologies. Activities of the Modeling and urban dynamics group allowed the funding of post-docs for the study of models in urban planning and ecocities as well as the publication of a book (Oeil d’Or editors, 2017) ;
- Through several projects (call for proposals from I-Site Future) :
- 2 tremplins (Wise Cities and Crisislab),
- 2 impulsions (OPPEnvU and NANO-4-WATER),
- 1 exploratoire (DYNAPLAST).
Leesu is one of the five laboratories of OSU Efluve. Since 2015, Leesu is involved in the development of PRAMMICS, the analytical platform of OSU Efluve.
This platform is located in the Maison des sciences de l’environnement (MSE) at Université Paris-Est Créteil. It includes some analytical instruments and expertise from each OSU Efluve labs and members. Its goal is to be an analytical center in the field of environmental sciences recognized nationally. The platform includes organic, inorganic and microbiology equipment. It was funded by UPEC, Région Île-de-France through a DIM Réseau de recherche sur le développement soutenable (R2DS) and a FEDER project of integrated territorial investment. Two observatory services of Leesu (OPUR and Créteil lake) are certified by OSU Efluve. They get support for maintenance and installation of measurement systems. OSU Efluve call for proposals allowed Leesu to start projects in collaboration with Lisaand CERTES for the development of innovative characterization methods : nontarget screening by high resolution mass spectrometry, characterization of bioaresols from urban roads…
Leesu is involved in the PIREN-Seine program (co-animating axis 1 - Evolution of rural and urban territories dynamics in the basin), and is a member of Fédération-Ile-de-France de Recherche sur l’Environnement (FIRE).
Leesu makes collaborations with several laboratories from:
- UPEC :
- ICMPE (microplastics and pyridinium of furosemide),
- CRRET (viruses),
- Lisa (MIAM et ScreenAtm’Eau),
- iEES (PICRI REFUJ, ITOV…),
- CERTES (biological contamination of aerosols from road cleaning),
- ESIEE (I-Site Future),
- IFSTTAR (I-Site Future, Sense City – road runoff),
- UPEM (Lab’Urba – non drinking water network of Paris),
- École des Ponts ParisTech (LHSV – modeling water quality)
