Dear Colleagues,
We are happy to announce the opening for submission of papers for the special issue of the journal «Water» (IF: 2.5; ISSN 2073-4441) entitled : «Dynamic and Diversity of Waterborne Pathogens and Fecal Indicators in Urban Surface Waters».
Reviews, modeling exercises, field and lab works focusing on the diversity and spatio-temporal dynamic of fecal indicators, viruses, pathogenic bacteria, parasites, and toxin-producing algae in urban waters are welcome. Moreover, studies on real-time monitoring, now-casting, forecasting models, evolution of the regulations, sanitary risk analysis are encouraged. The Special Issue also collects studies focusing on the ecology of pathogens in surface waters and on the sources and fate of pathogens in urban waterways and lakes. Further information of the Special Issue can be found using the following link.
We hope that, with your contribution as an expert on this field, we will be able to build a nice special issue on waterborne pathogens in urban surface waters. We are able to offer discounts to the publication fees. So please contact us, Françoise Lucas, Pierre Servais or Leslie Ogorzaly when you consider submitting a paper!
