1 - Return of Tara at Lorient, on November 23 novembre 2019

The scientific schooner Tara returns to its home port of Lorient this November 23 at 3:30 PM, during the European Week for Waste Reduction, after 6 months of tracing plasting pollution from land to sea. See you on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November at the Cité de la Voile Éric Tabarly in Lorient!

2 – 2019 Mission on microplastics

A SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION TO IDENTIFY THE ORIGIN OF PLASTIC FOUND AT SEA AND COMING FROM THE LAND

Committed for more than 10 years to this issue, the Tara Ocean Foundation and its scientific partner laboratories intend to go further by completing their research with studies closer to waste dispersion sites. The main objective of this new mission is to compare the different kinds of plastic pollution coming from 9 of the largest European
rivers.
